Fresh Food Shouldn’t Travel Far

EVERGREEN CUISINE'S commitment to sustainability is the major factor in our decision to use local food. As food travels from location to location, freshness is compromised, which diminishes flavor, texture and nutrition. By sourcing the majority of our raw ingredients from within a 200-mile radius, we are actively engaged in limiting the amount of fuel used to transport our ingredients, helping to reduce our carbon footprint.

But our “green” philosophy doesn’t just end with the ingredients we bring in; it extends to what comes out of our kitchen as well. The food industry is one of the largest waste-producing industries in the world. At EVERGREEN CUISINE, we look to limit the amount of our waste through the use of composting and recycling both in our kitchen and on-site. When we use disposable containers, plates and utensils, we only use those that are biodegradable and/or recyclable. We want your event not only to be fantastic, but be as environmentally friendly as possible as well.
